Golden Sands Resort is located in the north of the Bulgarian
Black Sea Coast, 17 km far from the city of Varna. Built up
in 1957, it is a natural extension of Golden Sands Natural Park
to the sea coast. |
The strip of beach which length is 3.5 km, gets at some places
to 100 m in width. Here one can take sea baths from May to October;
the average summer temperature is 27°С, and the water temperature
- 24°С. There are more than 60 modern hotel complexes on the
seacoast and in the forest, most of them with open and covered
swimming pools; villa hamlets, restaurants and snack-bars; night-clubs
with folklore and show programs; bars and discos, casino; sport
equipments on the land and in the sea; balneological and fitness
centres; trade centres and shops; yacht port. |
The unique
natural resources of Golden Sands – calm and warm sea, venerable
forest descending to the beach, covered with fine sands, mineral
springs, as well as wonderful conditions for rest, sports, entertainment
and balneology are preconditions for the fact that thousands
of tourists from all over the world visit the resort annually.
